Wells

The Wells tile supports dewatering well monitoring — separate from Dewatering's sumps and pumps, with its own check history, well pump assignments, and reference documents.

TIP

Wells requires access to be granted per user by an admin, separate from Dewatering access. If you need access, use the Request Access tile.

What you can monitor

• Wells — individual dewatering wells, each with a Well ID / QR value
• Well Pumps — assigned to a well, with status tracking (Running / Standby / Down)

Logging a well check

1. Scan the well's QR code or open it from the Wells tile
2. Set the well's status — Running, Standby, or Down
3. If a pump is attached and running, enter its flow rate and unit (litres or cubic metres)
4. If the status changed since the last check, or the well is reporting an error, provide a reason/description
5. Submit — the check is timestamped and stored

Overview and history

The Wells home screen shows:

• Needs Attention — wells that are down, overdue, or otherwise flagged
• Overview Map — site map of well locations
• Recent Checks — the latest submitted checks across all wells
• Operational Time Summary and Volume Reporting — aggregated run-time and discharge volume over a selected period

Reference documents

Documents can be linked at two levels:

• Portal-wide — linked from the Wells admin panel, these appear as quick-access references on every well's check screen
• Per-well — linked from a specific well's Edit modal, these apply only to that well, in addition to the portal-wide documents

Well documents (activity log notes and file uploads) also appear in meeting summary emails when a series links well documentation, with direct download links for each file. Files can be added via drag-and-drop from the desktop, in addition to the standard file picker.

Admin view

Admins manage well infrastructure from the Wells admin panel:

• Add, edit, and bulk-import wells and well pumps
• Assign pumps to wells
• Configure Well Check Frequency (overdue alert interval)
• Configure Report Settings for Operational Time / Volume reporting
• Link portal-wide reference documents
• View unassigned well pumps and the full site map
