QR Code Scanning

The QR Decoder tile is a universal scanner that can look up any OneSiteKit asset QR code — regardless of which category it belongs to.

When to use it

• You find an asset and want to check its status without knowing its category
• You want to quickly look up sign-out history
• You want to sign an asset out or return it without navigating through the asset lists

How to use it

1. Open the QR Decoder tile from the portal
2. Point your camera at the asset's QR label
3. OneSiteKit identifies the asset and shows:
   • Asset type and name
   • Current status (Available / Signed Out / Handoff Pending)
   • Who currently has it (if signed out)
   • Quick action buttons (Sign Out, Request Return, Request Handoff)

QR code labels

QR labels are generated by OneSiteKit for each asset. Admins can print label sheets from the Asset Database — designed for water-resistant label stock for field use.

TIP

The QR Decoder is the fastest way to return an asset — scan it on the way back to the depot and tap Request Return directly from the result screen.
