Roster

The Roster is the project-level library of reusable resources. Define labor roles, equipment, and billable items here once, then attach them to event templates for automatic cost calculations.

Open the Roster via Scheduler → Roster in the top-right dropdown.

Resource types

TabResource typeHow costs are calculated
LaborPeople and crew rolesRate per hour × hours per day × work days
EquipmentMachinery, tools, rentalsRate per hour × hours per day × work days
Billable ItemFixed fees, milestones, pass-throughsOne-time (start date, end date, or both) or cost-per-hour

Adding resources

Click + Add Labor (or + Equipment / + Billable Item) to open the resource form.

FieldNotes

CSV import

Use the CSV import to bulk-load resources:

  1. Click Template CSV to download a pre-formatted CSV template.
  2. Fill in the template with your resources.
  3. Click Import CSV and select the completed file.

Rows with names matching existing resources update those resources. New names are appended.

TIP

Use the CSV workflow when onboarding a new project with a large crew list. Import the full roster in one step, then assign resources to event templates.

Roster vs. vendors in event templates

The Roster is the global resource library for the project. When you assign vendors to an event in the edit modal, you reference roster items — or define one-off rates specific to that event without touching the roster.

Calendar Viewer

The Viewer is a read-only calendar for sharing with stakeholders who need to see the schedule without edit access. Open it via Scheduler → Viewer.

What the Viewer shows

The Viewer mirrors the Scheduler calendar:

  • All placed events, with event bar labels
  • Rotation rest days (hatched bars)
  • Blocker background shading and, if enabled, blocker label bars
  • Calendar notes

View sizes

Switch between 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, and 6 months using the buttons in the top bar. The navigation arrows and today button work the same as in the Scheduler.

Configuring the Viewer

Click Configure to choose which fields appear on event bars (banding fields). Viewer banding is independent of the Scheduler banding — you can show Total Cost in the Viewer while showing Work Order in the Scheduler, for example.

Available banding fields: Work Order, Purchase Order, Vendors, Daily Cost, Total Cost, Duration.

Click Print / PDF to open a print-optimised layout. Use your browser's Print dialog to save as PDF. The calendar fits the visible date range to the page.

Sharing

To share the Viewer with a stakeholder:

  1. Save the project to the cloud using Save to Cloud in the top bar.
  2. Copy the Viewer URL from the browser address bar.
  3. Send the link. Recipients see a snapshot of the synced project without logging in.

Global settings

Access global settings via the gear icon in the top-right corner of any view.
