Partner Organizations

Partner Organizations let two OneSiteKit organizations link together to share resources — without either org's users joining the other's account or seeing anything beyond what's explicitly shared.

Linking with a partner

  1. Open Control Panel → Partner Organizations
  2. Under Invite a Partner, enter the other organization's org code and send the invite
  3. Their admins receive an email and can Accept or Decline from their own Partner Organizations screen

A pending invite you sent, and any invite you've received, both show on this screen until they're acted on.

What can be shared

Each side of a partnership configures its own sharing settings independently — sharing isn't automatically mutual. From a partnership's Settings, an admin can toggle:

  • Equipment & Tools — share your asset database (radios, fuel keys, CAS units, and tools) with the partner org
  • Documents — share your documents with the partner org
  • User Directory — make your org's user list visible to the partner org (useful for cross-org project assignment and meeting roll calls)
  • Allow their users to request your equipment — lets the partner org's users submit sign-out requests against your shared assets

Badges on the partnership card show what's shared in each direction: what they share with you, and what you share with them.

How shared items appear

Assets and documents that come from a partner org are shown with an org-code badge so it's always clear which organization owns them. In the Asset Database, shared tools and equipment show the partner's org code next to the asset ID. In Documents, shared files are similarly tagged.

Inviting a partner org member into a Project or Meeting

Beyond the org-wide asset/document sharing above, a partner org's individual users can also be invited into one specific Project or Meeting series — without joining your organization or seeing anything else.

From the project's member picker, or the meeting series' Roll Call Manager, partner org users appear alongside your own org's members (tagged with their org name). Adding one grants them the same permissions as any other Full/Limited Access project member, or roll call attendee/contributor — scoped to that one project or series only.

INFO

Partner org users only appear in member pickers if the User Directory sharing toggle is enabled on that partnership.

Revoking a partnership

Open the partnership and tap Revoke. This ends the partnership immediately — all shared assets and documents stop being visible to either organization, and any project/meeting access previously granted to the partner org's users stops working right away.

WARNING

Revoking a partnership cannot be undone from either side. To restore access later, send a new invite.
