Report Builder

The Report Builder generates pivot tables of cost, work days, and hours across any combination of dimensions and time periods. Open it via the Scheduler → Reports dropdown in the top-right corner.

Pivot table

The Pivot tab is the main report view. Rows represent your chosen dimensions; columns represent time periods. Each cell shows the selected metric for that dimension/period intersection. The Total column sums the full row.

Summary stats above the table show total rows, total cost, and total work days for the current configuration.

Configuration

Time granularity

Controls column width. Choose Day, Week (Wk), Month (Mo), or Year (Yr).

Date range

Set a From and To date to scope the report. Columns outside the range are hidden. Defaults to a 6-month window around today.

Pivot rows by

The primary grouping dimension. Options:

DimensionGroups rows by
EventEach placed event (default)
VendorEach vendor assigned to events
LaborEach labor role across all vendors
EquipmentEach equipment item across all vendors
Work Order (WO)Work order reference

Drag the numbered dimension chips to reorder multiple groupings. For example, Event → Vendor → Labor creates a three-level hierarchy: event rows expand to vendor sub-rows, which expand to individual labor role rows.

Add grouping

Add sub-row dimensions under the primary grouping by clicking one of the grouping chips: + Vendor, + Labor, + Equip., or + WO.

Default metric

The metric shown in cells when no column metric toggle is active. Options:

  • Cost — dollar value
  • Days — work days in the period
  • Hours — work hours in the period (days × hours per day)

You can also switch the metric live using the $ Cost, Days, and Hours toggle buttons above the table without changing the default.

Filters

Narrow the report to specific subsets:

  • Vendor — filter by vendor name
  • WO — filter by work order
  • Event — filter by event name

Headcount tab

The Headcount tab shows periodic crew and equipment totals — useful for identifying resource peaks or verifying that daily headcount stays within max-quantity limits defined in the Roster.

Saved reports

  1. Enter a name in the Report name… field.
  2. Click Save. The report appears in the Saved Reports list on the left.

Saved reports persist with the project. From the saved report list you can:

  • Share — generate a shareable link that others can import.
  • Edit name — rename the report.
  • Delete — remove it.

To import a report shared by someone else, click + Import shared report and paste the link.

Exporting

Click Export XLSX to download the current report as an Excel workbook. The export is tab-aware:

  • On the Pivot tab — exports the pivot table reflecting the current granularity, date range, groupings, metric, and filters.
  • On the Headcount tab — exports the headcount grid instead.

TIP

Set Time Granularity to Month and Pivot rows by Event → Vendor before exporting for a clean month-by-month cost breakdown per vendor that you can hand to a project accountant.
